Celebrate the End of Summer With Bright Light Adult Daycare 🎒🍦☀️

As summer comes to a close and families begin preparing for a new school year, Bright Light Adult Daycare and HCS Home Health Care Services of NY are bringing the community together for an End of Summer Back-to-School Community Celebration on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

The event will take place from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at four locations across Brooklyn and is open to families, children, seniors, friends, neighbors, and other community members.

A Community Event for All Ages

The End of Summer Back-to-School Community Celebration is designed to give local families and neighbors an opportunity to enjoy time together before the school year begins.

Guests can expect a relaxed, family-friendly afternoon with activities, refreshments, giveaways, music, and opportunities to connect with local community resources.

Activities will include:

• Free ice cream

• Backpack giveaways while supplies last

• Family-friendly games and activities

• Music

• Community resources

• Photo opportunities

The event is intended to bring together people of different ages from throughout the neighborhood and create a positive way to celebrate the end of summer.

Four Brooklyn Locations

To make the event accessible to more community members, the celebration will be held at four Brooklyn locations.
